Dear webcam community, we hereby allow ourselves to make an official statement regarding the situation that is taking place on social networks, where different models were contacted with a message stating that the companies AJ Studios and The Webcam Lab have explicit photographs of them and are distributing them on the networks. Accompanying these messages was also a link sent to forovideochat.com that relates the aforementioned companies to a scam. This forum is property of Grupo Bedoya, information confirmed by members of the Sijín computer crime investigation group. The people contacted were asked to share a publication made by a fanpage called La Verdad AJ, otherwise their photographs would be distributed directly to family and friends.
As part of the messages sent by the group responsible for this smear campaign, Grupo Bedoya is promoted as an alternative and encouraged to leave AJ Studios.

In previous situations we have preferred to stay away from any smear campaign aimed at the brands we represent, but on this occasion third parties are involved and extortion is resorted to as a means to achieve their goal, which is why we decided to report the situation and speak out publicly about it.
